It’s quite simple really. Because Universal Basic Income is nothing more than taking from the rich and giving to the poor. Let me explain. Everybody pay a tax to fund the UBI (Universal Basic Income), and since the rich have more money, they pay a higher tax. When the UBI is distributed however, everybody gets a equal share, so, the poor who paid less tax to fund it wins in the scenario, and the rich who paid a lot of tax loses. So, not matter what the economy looks like, the UBI is always affordable.
